Safe Shelter

SHELTER AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

Through our shelter and transitional housing, we help more than 550 survivors of domestic and/or sexual assault each year.

Women, children and men in need of safe shelter come to us in a variety of ways.  Some survivors are referred by a concerned friend or family member, others may be privately escorted for safety reasons by law enforcement and many more arrive after talking with an advocate on our 24-hour help line.

Safe and confidential shelter is available by calling our 24-hour help line at (904) 824-1555

Food, clothing, toiletries, laundry detergent, birthday gifts, shoes, bed linens, haircuts and items you use in your home are provided to participants.

You can support participants in shelter and transitional housing by making a financial donations, donating in-kind items to our thrift shoppes or providing greatly needed supplies on our wish list.
